In this article I’m going to tell you how to repair or fix Computer turns on but no display on monitor. When you turns on your Computer it’s turns on but no display message is showing on display or black screen of death is usually seen. You can fix this issue very easily without having extra professional knowledge.

I’m going to tell you step by step solution of Computer turns on but no display on monitor. before doing anything please make sure monitor has power.

Replace the power cable and VGA cable to recheck that all cables and connectors are working fine.

Remove all cables from back side of CPU and also remove any USB drive which is connected with CPU.

Then remove screws from back side of computer for open CPU cover, after that remove the CPU cover. Now you can access all internal hardware parts of Computer, and main troubleshooting is begin.

First off all you have to look Motherboard very carefully to search any burnt or black mark on Motherboad.

First off all remove all RAM (Random Access Memory) from motherboard, which is located on motherboard’s RAM sockets. You can remove RAM by RAM’s socket Slide to opposite direction and pull up smoothly.

After removing all RAM you have to clean RAM’s connector by smooth brush or pencil eraser which I personally recommend. After cleaning RAM again install carefully in your Computer, then connect all cables and press start button to start your Computer.

If this method not worked then try next method – Now you have to check your Power supply of CPU, to check your power supply you can replace with other power supply but if you don’t have another one then you can check manually by your self.

To check your power supply (SMPS) you need a small wire, power cable and your SMPS.

Connect a power cable to SMPS and then insert wire in 20 PIN connector’s green and black colour wire socket, if SMPS fan is moving its mean your power supply is working.

Note: – This method is not worked all conditions so try with your own risk.

If above method not worked then you have remove your hard drive then try to boot your computer and you can reconnect all cables and connectors.

If all method not worked then you have to replace your motherboard because motherboard is main unit of a Computer.
